Who Pays for Bed Bug Treatment in a Florida Apartment?
Florida law addresses this directly. Statute 83.51(2)(a) names bedbugs among the pests the landlord is responsible for exterminating in rental dwellings other than single-family homes and duplexes.

- Rent abated If you must vacate, the landlord is required to abate the rent for that period.
